Marin's Race Ready, Full Carbon
PRO FIT Carbon: The 2012 Stelvio series utilizes Marin's T3, or Tube-To-Tube, carbon construction process to deliver a chassis that is stiff and responsive for riders wanting maximum performance. New this year in the PRO FIT series is a lineup packed with SRAM drivetrain. The light weight all-carbon frame and fork combinations feature a tapered 1.125"-1.5" head tube for precise steering control plus an ultra-stiff BB30 bottom bracket system to transfer energy from the pedals directly to the rear wheel for improved climbing and sprinting performance. Marin's Endurance series combines the technology of Marin's latest road racing bikes with specific frame and component features that minimize rider fatigue. A6 alloy Endurance framesets are the foundation of the formula with a geometry that offers greater stability and positions the rider with a slightly more upright position. Formed and arced seatstays provide vertical compliance while high profile chainstays deliver efficient energy transfer for climbing and hard pedaling efforts. Select component choices add in preserving rider energy like larger, 24c and 25c tires and size-specific handlebars that tailor fit riders of varying height.
