Hey There
More kids on bikes = changing the world for the better.
Empowering youth to become the best version of themselves:
both on and off the bike.
What if the most important thing you did this year was put your kid on a mountain bike?
That may sound dramatic — but when you understand what youth mountain biking does for students, you'll realize it's not just a sport. It's a transformational experience that builds confidence, character, and resilience. And now, your child can be part of it — right here in Redmond.
At Trinity Bikes we’re helping launch a Redmond chapter of NICA — the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. NICA creates middle and high school mountain bike teams across the U.S., offering kids a way to grow both on and off the bike.
Other Central Oregon towns — Bend, Sisters, and Prineville — already have thriving teams. We believe Redmond deserves the same.
Here’s what NICA offers:
-
Team-based mountain biking (no experience required)
-
A supportive culture focused on growth, not just winning
-
Benefits to mental health, leadership, and academic performance
-
Strong community and parent involvement
We’ve got two riders ready to go. We need more — and we’re calling on:
-
Parents of students (incoming grades 6–12)
-
Community members interested in coaching, sponsoring, or volunteering
